You can see what appears to be a funnel cloud near the road in Cape Charles, Virginia. Police say at least three people were killed and as many as 20 injured when a likely tornado tore through the Cherrystone Campground on Thursday. The deadly storm toppled trees and power lines and overturned a tractor trailer. The area also got pelted with huge pieces of hail. SOUNDBITE: UNIDENTIFIED RESIDENT, SAYING: "The hail was real bad. It had to be golf ball sized hail. You couldn't see anything in front of you. I couldn't get out of my truck. It was that bad." Strong winds snapped the thick wooden posts holding up this billboard. Emergency responders are searching for additional victims.
