24 hours after a deadly shooting on Sunday, the town of Saco in southern Maine is still in shock. Police say a mother, father, and three children ages 12, seven, and four were found shot to death inside their apartment. Neighbor Heather Nason used to babysit the kids. SOUNDBITE: NEIGHBOR HEATHER NASON, SAYING: "I mean I loved those children just like they were my own, they'd play outside in front of the mailboxes." The bodies were found in three different rooms. Police found a gun next to one of the bodies. Detectives are investigating the case as a possible murder-suicide. SOUNDBITE: NEIGHBOR HEATHER NASON, SAYING: "I mean people have arguments and what not, that's fine, but something like this tragic especially for the children, there's no reason for the children to have been involved." The gruesome discovery was made by an apartment worker who had been asked by a family friend to check on them after growing concerned about their well-being.
