ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)
Philadelphia police have arrested two men in a fatal carjacking and crash that killed three children and injured their mother.
Police announced on Monday that Johnathan Rosa and Cornelius Crawford have been charged with murder.
According to authorities, Crawford was recently released from prison on robbery charges.
Authorities say the two men used a gun to force a 45-year-old woman driving a white SUV into the back seat and made off with the car on Friday.
The suspects were driving at a high speed when a tire apparently blew out, causing the car to careen into the family members selling fruit on the sidewalk to raise money for their church, police said.
The mother was critically injured and transported to a local hospital, and her three children - ages 7, 10 and 15 - were killed in the crash.
Police commended people in the community for stepping forward with information and sharing video taken at the scene.
