Cleanup underway after tornado slams Boston area

The town of Revere, Massachusetts is picking up the pieces after a rare tornado damaged homes, businesses, and knocked out power. Linda So reports.

They're picking up the pieces in Revere, Massachusetts. A day after a destructive tornado touched down just outside of Boston, cleanup is underway. Power is being restored and here at this auto body shop where it looks like cars and equipment went through a blender, people are counting their blessings. SOUNDBITE: UNIDENTIFIED RESIDENT, SAYING: "Material stuff is material stuff, but people are people, you can't replace people so I'm glad everybody's ok." No major injuries were reported from the tornado that damaged homes, uprooted trees, and temporarily shut down City Hall. SOUNDBITE: REVERE MAYOR DAN RIZZO, SAYING: "I received a call from my assistant who was petrified and said windows and doors were blowing out." Police have increased patrols in the area to prevent looting.
