(SOUNDBITE) (English) ANDREW SMITH, LOS ANGELES POLICE COMMANDER, SAYING:
"First of all, we can say that we did make an arrest and it's four individuals, that are two adults and two juveniles, three of them are male, one is female, that have been arrested, and are facing the charges of homicide with special circumstances, which what special circumstances means is that in the case of these four individuals, that makes them eligible as a penalty, to receive punishment of death. /Those five individuals accosted him, beat him severely, and what we believe may be an attempted robbery. He was able to make it back to his house, where in the early morning hours of that same day, he succumbed to his injuries, and our officers responded, and found him to be deceased at his residency."
The four suspects are also accused of taking part in a separate robbery later that same day.
