"Guardians of the Galaxy" stormed into the box office this weekend.
And these extraterrestrial misfits launched themselves into the top spot.
The wacky space adventure flick has gleaned $94 million in North American ticket sales.
The high numbers reflect a top-notch cast, including Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper and Chris Pratt.
...Providing a bit of eye candy underneath the alien skin.
18.3 million -- the number of dollars pulled in by the sci-fi film: "Lucy."
Scarlett Johansson stars as a woman with a super-powered brain. But the blond bombshell gets caught in a dark deal and turns the table on her captors.
Ahead of its time... but falling behind on the box office chart is "Get On Up."
Chadwick Boseman stars as soul singer James Brown and tells the tale of this man's incredible life.
"The Godfather of Soul" brought in $14 million this weekend.
