A show of force as the Lebanese military heads into the fight. Troops are deployed to the Syrian border, where at least 10 Lebanese soldiers have died in recent fighting with Islamist militants. Among them, fighters from al Qaeda's Syrian branch and from the Islamic State. The Lebanese army commander speaks of their loss: (SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) COMMANDER OF THE LEBANESE ARMY, GENERAL JEAN KAHWAJI, SAYING: ''The army has lost 10 martyrs and 25 are wounded including 4 officers. We lost 13 soldiers whom we believe are missing and they are maybe prisoners in the hands of the terrorist groups.'' In Arsal, locals show support for their soldiers: (SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) UNIDENTIFIED LEBANESE CITIZEN FROM LABWE TOWN SAYING : "They hit Syria and now they are targeting Lebanon, but in the presence of the army it will never happen." And so the soldiers prepare to rid their country of militants -- and stop some of the worst militant fighting they've been exposed to since the conflict in Syria began.
