STORY: South Korean girl band, 2NE1 met fans in Yangon during their first visit to Myanmar on Friday (August 1) and ahead of their weekend concert.
Around four hundred fans gathered at the Event Park, Yangon's biggest exhibition hall to welcome the K-pop band.
Since the country opened up, several international bands have performed in Myanmar with 2NE1 being the second South Korean band to visit the country.
The band is scheduled to perform in Yangon's Event Park on Saturday (August 2) as part of their "All or Nothing" tour around Asia which includes Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Local media reported ticket prices ranged from Kyat 25,000 (25 USD) to Kyat 900,000 (900 USD).
