As the conflict in the Middle East rages on, Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan uses harsh words to describe the consequences he says Israel will face following its offensive in Gaza. (SOUNDBITE) (Turkish) TURKISH PRIME MINISTER, TAYYIP ERDOGAN, SAYING: "They will drown in the blood they shed. There is no such thing as eternal tyranny. One day, they will pay for their tyranny. We are waiting impatiently to see the day of justice. I believe wholeheartedly that justice will be served" During a rally in Istanbul, Erdogan also addressed a letter he received by the New York based American-Jewish Congress. The congress demanded he return an award won for his efforts at brokering peace in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. (SOUNDBITE) (Turkish) TURKISH PRIME MINISTER, TAYYIP ERDOGAN, SAYING: "(The American-Jewish Association) threatens me in their letter. I will reply to their letter separately but I want to call on them from here. They are killing women to stop them from giving birth to Palestinian babies" Israel and Turkey have seen their relations deteriorate in recent years since Israeli commandos stormed a Turkish ship. It had been sailing as part of a flotilla challenging the Jewish state's naval blockade of Gaza.
