(SOUNDBITE) (English) AUSTRALIAN DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER AND TRANSPORT MINISTER, WARREN TRUSS SAYING: "ATS (Australian Transport Safety Board) has evaluated the tenders it received and selected Fugro Survey PTY LTD as offering the best value for money technical solution to perform this complex activity. The Malaysian Government have also offered equipment which will participate in that search and of course there's a Chinese vessel already operating in that area in relation to the survey." The plane carrying 239 passengers and crew disappeared on March 8th after taking off from Kuala Lampur enroute to Beijing. So far, no trace of the plane has been recovered. The next phase of the search is expected to take up to a year and is already the most expensive undertaking in history.
