A jury finds a Detroit homeowner guilty of second-degree murder in the shooting of an unarmed teen on his porch. Linda So reports.

A jury delivers its verdict against Theodore Wafer. The Detroit homeowner is found guilty of second-degree murder in the shooting of Renisha McBride. The 19-year-old teen was shot dead by Wafer after she knocked on his door seeking help after a car accident last November. Her parents relieved by the verdict. SOUNDBITE: MONICA MCBRIDE, MOTHER OF RENISHA MCBRIDE, SAYING: "Outstanding, the prosecutor they did a wonderful job proving their burden they had, they made it through. It was overwhelming. I kept the faith, I stayed positive." Wafer was also found guilty of manslaughter and firearms charges and faces up to life in prison. SOUNDBITE: MONICA MCBRIDE, MOTHER OF RENISHA MCBRIDE, SAYING: "We know as parents how we raised her. She was not violent, she was a regular teenager, and she was well raised and brought up in a loving family and her life mattered." The killing sparked protests in the Detroit community and was compared to the shooting death of Travyon Martin.
