With the three-day truce now over, the conflict in Gaza enters its second month. Israel says it attacked more than 30 sites since midnight in this coastal enclave, dominated by Hamas militants. The strikes hit houses and three mosques, killing five Palestinians, say health officials. (SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) GAZA RESIDENT, KAMAL AL HAAJ, SAYING: "Decent people would not attack a mosque. What is inside the mosque? Go in there with the camera and see if there are rockets inside." Under the morning sun, residents pull three bodies from one mosque. Officials here say the strikes lasted throughout the night and that aircraft-mounted weapons were also used along open areas. Gaza militants fired six rockets into southern Israeli towns, setting off air raid sirens. No damage or injuries were reported there. As the dead are laid to rest, there's no visible progress for a ceasefire. When it expired Friday, both sides -- Israel and Hamas -- were still far apart on the terms for renewing a deal. Each side blaming the other, as Gaza residents can only watch and wait.
