This Alabama high school is at the center of a controversy... all because of a student's hair color.
The parents of 15-year-old Hayleigh Black say their daughter was sent home from school by the principal because of her dyed-red hair.
School officials at Muscle Shoals High apparently said her hair was too bright and distracting.
The girl's family has hired a lawyer and is asking that her absence be erased from the record and that her red hair be allowed.
