Tennessee high school student Kendra Turner says she was just trying to be polite when she said 'bless you' to a classmate who sneezed. But the senior at Dyer County High school says those words got her suspended from class. The teacher told her she was breaking class rules. SOUNDBITE: KENDRA TURNER, STUDENT, SAYING: "She told me that we're not going to have godly speaking in her class. I said, 'well my pastor told me it's my constitutional right.'" Turner says her teacher gave her this letter that states 'bless you' and other expressions distract and interrupts smooth flow in class. Now the student is being blessed with support from fellow classmates who think the suspension was unfair. SOUNDBITE: KENDRA TURNER, STUDENT, SAYING: "A lot of them came into school with t-shirts that said "bless you" on them to support me." School officials have declined to comment on the incident only saying it's been blown out of proportion.
