Those crooked, zigzagging lanes on Interstate 66 in Northern Virginia have been fixed. The lane striping mishap caused a nightmare for commuters heading to D.C. Monday morning. Transportation crews worked through the night to correct the mess. Officials say it was caused by temporary tape striping that pulled away from the road surface resulting in those crazy lanes and confusing drivers. The Virginia Department of Transportation is looking into what caused the tape to come off the road.
