Prayers for Aaron Sofer, the 23-year-old New Jersey man who went missing while hiking in a Jerusalem forest. The yeshiva student who is studying abroad in Israel was reported missing by a friend on Friday. The two had gone hiking together when the friend told police they got separated while making their way down a steep incline. Authorities in Israel are intensifying their search. SOUNDBITE: MAYOR MENASHE MILLER, LAKEWOOD, SAYING: "We thank those agencies that have been involved thus far and we implore upon the agencies to continue their mission in assisting and finding Aaron Sofer." Sofer's parents have left their New Jersey home to fly to Israel to help with the search. The forest where Sofer disappeared is in the area where the burned body of a Palestinian boy was found last month. An apparent act of retaliation for the three Israeli teens who were abducted and murdered in June.
