Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are officially husband and wife. The Hollywood power couple tied the know over the weekend at their estate in the south of France. Reports indicate that the couple's 6 children took part in the small, intimate ceremony. Pitt was back to work almost immediately. While in the U.K. on Thursday (August 28), Pitt participated in a photo-op for his new film "Fury," and flashed a ring on his wedding finger.
Joan Rivers was rushed to a New York hospital on Thursday (August 28) after she reportedly stopped breathing during surgery on her vocal chords. Mount Sinai Hospital released a statement confirming that the 81-year old comedian was there, but gave no update on her condition.
Actress Maureen O'Hara will be one of the recipients of this year's Governors Awards - the honorary Oscars handed out by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences. The 94-year old Dublin native is best known for the films "Miracle on 34th Street" and "Sinbad the Sailor." She'll receive the Oscar at a ceremony in November.
Finally, Jennifer Aniston hit the red carpet in Los Angeles for the premiere of her latest film, "Life of Crime." The actress posed for photos and spoke to the media. In the film, she plays the wife of a corrupt real estate developer. It opens in theaters on August 29.
