The Showboat Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey is closing on Labor Day weekend, one of several casinos preparing to shut down in the coming weeks. Linda So reports.

The Showboat Casino in Atlantic City is closing its doors for good on Sunday.
SOUNDBITE: KATHLEEN QUILTY-BUSSEY, SHOWBOAT CUSTOMER, SAYING:
"Terrible, I'm very disappointed, I didn't think of all of them this one would close."
The Mardi Gras themed casino, part of the Caesars Entertainment Group is one of several to shut down in the struggling New Jersey resort.
The Revel Casino will close on Monday, the Trump Plaza in mid-September.
SOUNDBITE: DON GUARDIAN, MAYOR OF ATLANTIC CITY, SAYING:
"This is a time for everyone - faith-based organizations, union, government - all to come together so we can provide some immediate services and help for those people that are losing their jobs."
SOUNDBITE: LAURA GOULD, CASINO WORKER'S WIFE, SAYING:
"You have over 8,000 families out of work, if that's not devastation I don't know what is."
It's been a tough year for Atlantic City. Altogether, four casinos are closing this year.
