Visibility was close to zero on Saturday along this stretch of highway in southern Washington state. A huge dust storm swept across the highway, causing a 50-car pile up along I-82 about 60 miles west of Walla Walla. SOUNDBITE: CAPT. DEVIN HELLEND, BENTON COUNTY FIRE, SAYING: "It's mother nature, it's hard for us to predict mother nature." Emergency crews reported nearly 30 minor injures, mostly cuts and scrapes and soreness. Seven people were taken to the hospital by ambulance, none of them faced critical injuries. Authorities closed a portion of the highway to stop more cars from driving into the mess.
