--QUALITY AS INCOMING -- ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) New video footage of Joran Van der Sloot, a Dutch national serving a 28-year prison sentence for the murder of a Peruvian woman and the main suspect in the disappearance of a U.S. teenager, shows the 27 year-old shortly after his transfer to a remote maximum-security prison. Van der Sloot was transferred to the prison high up in the Andes after he was allegedly found with a mobile phone in his jail cell at Piedras Gordas penitentiary in Lima. Earlier this year, mobile phone footage surfaced of Van der Sloot from his cell. In the recording, the inmate accuses a prison guard of giving him the phone to set him up. However, authorities say the Dutch citizen was transferred on August 23 for threatening a prison guard after his mobile phone was confiscated. Van der Sloot was sentenced in 2012 for strangling, beating and suffocating 21-year-old Peruvian business student, Stephany Flores. He is also suspected of killing 18-year-old Natalee Holloway, who vanished during a high school graduation trip to Aruba in 2005 and was last seen with him and another man. The Alabama teen's body has not been found and Van der Sloot has denied involvement in her disappearance. Peru has reported it will extradite Van der Sloot to the United States for questioning about the Holloway case but only after he finishes his jail term. The Dutch national, who married his pregnant Peruvian girlfriend Leidy Figueroa in a prison ceremony in July, went on a hunger strike last week to protest the transfer and prison conditions.
