The White House was all aglow in pink Wednesday night. The north portico of the presidential residence was illuminated in pink lights in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month this October. The White House said it wants to remind Americans that breast cancer touches just about everyone -- saying the disease is the second leading cause of cancer-related death among women. The White House wants women to be vigilant about scheduling their routine breast exams and says President Obama's Affordable Care Act provides preventive care for women -- like breast exams -- without a co-pay. The National Breast Cancer Foundation says one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
