Malaysia's opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim begins his final appeal against conviction on a sex charge and a five year prison term. He was convicted in March of a sex act with a male assistant. Rights groups say the verdict was politically influenced. (SOUNDBITE) (English) MALAYSIAN OPPOSITION LEADER ANWAR IBRAHIM SAYING: "He just began the submission, so a long way to go. I'm always confident based on facts and law." A ruling against him is likely to end his political career, and his supporters could take to the streets.
