ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Maryland Governor-elect Larry Hogan is pledging to work across the aisle after his surprise win in a traditionally left-leaning state. Speaking to reporters on Wednesday morning, Hogan said, "It doesn't matter to me whether you're Republican or Democrat, whether you voted for us or not, we're all going to work together, roll up our sleeves and work in a bipartisan fashion, reaching across the aisle and trying to come up with common sense bipartisan solutions." Hogan says although he felt confident heading into election day, "It still was kind of a shock when state troopers showed up at our hotel room and said we're here to protect you governor." Republican Larry Hogan, a businessman beat the state's lieutenant governor Anthony Brown. Hogan is a former official in the administration of Governor Robert Ehrlich, a Republican, and formed a conservative advocacy group called Change Maryland.
