The cake says it all... and for U.S. troops in Germany, their holiday has gotten a little sweeter. They're thousands of miles from their home, but the US Army Europe headquarters in Wiesbaden is uniting soldiers with a Thanksgiving feast. NCO Adam Martinez says it's a great experience, despite being slightly homesick. (SOUNDBITE) (English) OPERATIONS NONCOMMISSIONED OFFICER (NCO), ADAM MARTINEZ, SAYING: "It's important not to spend it at home alone, or in the barracks or anything else, to get out and get with friends and get with leaders and soldiers and try to get a little bit more of that friendship and that bond. There is of course, I definitely miss my mother's cooking. I don't think there is somewhere here I can get close to that, but that's probably one thing I do miss." The hot meal was not only served up for U.S. troops and family members, but also retired soldiers -- a taste of the American holiday, overseas.
