ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: A blue carpet was rolled out in London's Leicester Square on Monday (December 15) for the star-studded European premiere of "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb". The third, and possibly final, instalment of the popular comedy-adventure franchise sees the return of many familiar faces and welcomes some new additions to the cast. In this story, Ben Stiller's museum security guard Larry finds himself travelling to the British Museum when the magic powers of the Tablet of Ahkmenrah, an ancient Egyptian artefact, begin to die out. Larry, along with his son (played by Skyler Gisondo), Theodore Roosevelt (Robin Williams), Jedadiah (Owen Wilson), Octavius (Steve Coogan), Attila the Hun (Patrick Gallagher), Sacagawea (Mizuo Peck), a Neanderthal (Stiller again) and Dexter the monkey, embark on a night time quest in London to save the tablet's powers, which are responsible for bringing the museum's characters to life when the sun goes down. Australian actress Rebel Wilson makes her debut in the series, as well as former "Downton Abbey" star Dan Stevens, who ditches the tweed suit for a suit of armour to play the iconic knight Sir Lancelot. He spoke about his admiration for his colleagues, especially the late Robin Williams. "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb" shows one of the last on screen performances by Williams, who committed suicide in August this year. Owen Wilson also reflected on his time with Williams, who was often paired up with him during press junkets for the film. "Night at the Museum: The Secret of the Tomb" will open in cinemas in the U.S. and U.K. on Friday (December 19).
