Five people are injured in a suspected arson attack on a mosque in Sweden amid intense debate over immigration. Paul Chapman reports.

Up to 20 people were inside this mosque in the Swedish town of Eskilstuna when suspected arsonists struck on Christmas Day. Five people needed hospital treatment for cuts and breathing in smoke. (SOUNBITE)(Swedish) IBRAHIM SABRIYA, WITNESS, SAYING: "The first time we didn't take it seriously, the second time another person started shouting and then everyone got up and it was chaos. Everybody began running towards emergency exits and breaking windows to get out. People ran into one another. We threw the elderly out of the windows. They couldn't get up to the windows so we had to throw them out." The blaze at the mosque's happened at a time of intense debate over immigration in Sweden. The far right wants to cut the number of asylum seekers allowed to enter by 90 per cent. Mainstream political parties want to preserve the country's liberal policies.
