Suspicious "device" lands on White House lawn

The U.S. Secret Service has recovered a ''device'' - possibly a small drone - found on the White House grounds, although officials say it posed no immediate danger. Linda So reports.

An unidentified electronic device, which could be a small drone, landed on the grounds of the White House overnight. Security teams could be seen on the north lawn shining flashlights. SOUNDBITE: JOSH EARNEST, WHITE HOUSE SPOKESMAN, SAYING: "There is a device that has been recovered by the Secret Service on the grounds of the White House." Josh Earnest told reporters traveling with President Obama in India on Monday that the Secret Service is investigating, but there was no immediate danger from the incident. SOUNDBITE: JOSH EARNEST, WHITE HOUSE SPOKESMAN, SAYING: "The device does not pose any ongoing threat to anyone at the White House." President Obama and the First Lady are in New Delhi for three days. Their daughters, Sasha and Malia, along with their grandmother stayed behind. It's unclear whether they were at the White House at the time of the incident.
