This factory in Kronstadt, Russia is getting to the meat of Russia's economic problems - they're producing what they call "sanction sausages." Managing director Dmitry Yefimov says it's a bit like turning lemons into lemonade...albeit with a grain of salt. (SOUNDBITE) (Russian) MANAGING DIRECTOR OF KRONSTADT MEAT FACTORY, DMITRY YEFIMOV, SAYING: "Last year when economic sanctions were imposed by a united Europe and America against Russia, this word (sanctions) became some kind of a symbol, so to speak, of blackmail and psychological influence. So finally we decided to give it a positive meaning." Yefimov says sanctions imposed on Russia over its role in the Ukrainian conflict have affected the company's meat supplies from Europe. And so the factory has switched over to local pork... an alternative they hope will be sanctioned as a superior choice by all who taste it.
