The Brazilian Supreme Court said Friday dozens of sitting politicians will be investigated in connection with a multi-billion dollar kickback scheme at the state-controlled oil company, Petrobras. The scandal has undermined support for President JOOma whoSEFAY Dilma Rousseff who was narrowly re-elected last year and is struggling to keep the country out of a recession. 12 senators and 22 congressmen from five parties are under investigation, all but one are from President Rousseff's governing coalition. So far, the corruption probe has led to 40 indictments on racketeering, bribery and money laundering charges, including two former Petrobras senior managers and 23 executives from six of Brazil's leading construction and engineering firms.
