ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) President Obama welcomed some of the nation's brightest young scientists to the White House on Monday. The students showcased their innovative projects for the 5th annual White House Science Fair. "We've got to celebrate the winners of our science fairs as much as we celebrate the winners of football, or basketball or other athletic competitions. Because young scientists, mathematicians, engineers, they're critical to our future," Obama said. The president met with the students to learn about the dozens of projects, designs, and experiments focused on science, technology, engineering and math.
