Voting in Nigeria's election spills over into a second day. It's been marred by drive by shootings blamed on Boko Haram militants that killed more than a dozen people, and glitches as voting machines, election officials say. And the race between Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan and former military ruler Muhammadu Buhari is dragging on, amid reports of voting irregularities, says INEC Chairman Attahiru Jega. (SOUNDBITE) (English) CHAIRMAN, INEC CHAIRMAN, PROF. ATTAHIRU JEGA SAYING: "We have received many complaints and allegations and we have been doing our best to investigate each report that has come to us. There have been allegations that some supervisory presiding officers have disappeared with result sheets and we have also received complaints alleging that some electoral officers delayed...deliberately delayed the distribution of electoral materials in particular ballot papers and result sheets and all of these reports we have received are also under investigation." Both of the candidates have appealed for calm as the nation awaits results.
