Rising hip-hop star A$AP Rocky is returning from his musical hiatus with a highly-anticipated second studio album. The New York rapper topped the Billboard 200 chart in 2013 with his debut album, but then decided to take a break before releasing new material. He admitted he was worried people would forget about him during the wait. SOUNDBITE: A$AP Rocky, musician, saying (English): "It's not like you can give the public a disclaimer and say, "Hey guys, well you know, just heads up, after this album I'm just going to take two years off. Just, you know, expect to see me in two more years. Wait around. Don't forget about me." So obviously there came the thought that maybe there's the possibility that people can forget." Still the 26-year-old said he's confident fans will like his upcoming record, called "At. Long. Last. A$AP", which is also co-produced by Juicy J and Danger Mouse. Besides music, A$AP is looking to start a career in acting. He made his first foray in front of the camera in the Sundance Film Festival hit "Dope" - a coming-of-age story set in a tough California neighbourhood. It opens in US cinemas on June 12. SOUNDBITE: A$AP Rocky, musician, saying (English): "I took it serious. The reason why I chose - that movie was an indie film. You know I wasn't being paid like a lot of money to do that film. I did it because I wanted to have my acting debut start small, on a small scale. Like with anything I do, I want to perfect myself and I wanted people to take it serious. If I would've just jumped into a mainstream Hollywood blockbuster, I think a lot of people would've been more reluctant, or people would've wanted to bash me more. I do feel that way." A$AP Rocky will be touring the US and Europe this summer, performing at various festivals including Sonar in Barcelona, Wireless in London and Lollapalooza in Chicago.
