A wreath-laying ceremony is held outside the house where Abraham Lincoln died to mark the 150th anniversary of his assassination. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) A large crowd gathered outside Ford's Theatre to mark the 150th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's assassination. A wreath-laying ceremony was held outside the Petersen House where the president was taken after he was shot by John Wilkes Booth as he watched a play in Ford's Threatre on April 14, 1865. Lincoln died the next morning. "The president who steadfastly led our nation through our greatest crisis lives on in our journey to perfect our nation," said Interior Secretary Sally Jewell in formal remarks during the ceremony.
