Nearly 40 years after his record-breaking Olympic gold-medal win, Bruce Jenner will likely make history in a different realm on Friday (April 24), with an interview in which he is expected to disclose his transition to life as a woman. Jenner would likely become the most high-profile American to come out as transgender. He sat down for an interview with ABC's Diane Sawyer, which will air Friday night on a special two-hour edition of "20/20." "Virgin Mountain," a Danish-Icelandic film about late bloomers and first love, won the best narrative award at the Tribeca Film Festival. The film also picked up the best actor win for its star Gunnar Jonsson and took the prize for best screenplay. Sawyer Sweeten, who played one of Ray Romano's children in the hit sitcom "Everybody Loves Raymond," has committed suicide, according to various media reports. The actor starred in the show alongside his sister and twin brother. He was 19. Finally, "The Visit" officially opened on Broadway to rave reviews. The show stars Chita Rivera as the wealthiest woman in the world, who returns to her hometown in Europe to seek revenge on a former lover. The New York Times praised the 82-year old star's voice and stage presence. The show is scheduled to run through early September.
