ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Hillary Clinton addresses the recent violence in Baltimore in a speech at Columbia University in New York City, Wednesday (April 29), saying "we have to come to terms with some hard truths about race and justice in America." "There is something wrong when trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve breaks down as far as it has in many of our communities," Clinton said. Clinton, the Democratic front-runner in the 2016 race for the White House, urged an end to the "era of mass incarceration." She called for an end to violence in Baltimore, acknowledging the pleas for peace expressed by Freddie Gray's family. "Those who are instigating further violence in Baltimore are disrespecting the Gray family and the entire community. They are compounding the tragedy of Freddie Gray's death and setting back the cause of justice. So the violence has to stop," Clinton said.
