Kerry in "good" spirits despite broken leg: State Dept.

The State Department say U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is in ''good'' spirits since breaking his leg and has spoken to his Iranian counterpart since the accident. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is in "good" spirits since breaking his leg and has spoken to his Iranian counterpart, foreign minister Mohammad Jawad Zarif since accident, State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf said. She also said Kerry called the French and Spanish foreign ministers about missing upcoming meetings due to his health while adding that Kerry will participate in Paris meeting remotely. Kerry left Europe for the United States earlier on Monday after breaking his leg in a cycling accident on Sunday.
