A small but vociferous group of young Tibetans show their opposition to Beijing's efforts to host the 2022 Winter Olympics. They gathered outside a hotel in the Swiss ciy of Lausanne to protest. Among them was a Tibetan monk who says he fled China after he was jailed and tortured for making a documentary about the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. The activists want the International Olympic committee to take human rights records into account. (SOUNDBITE)(English) TIBETAN YOUTH ASSOCIATION IN EUROPE REPRESENTATIVE MIGMAR DHAKYEL SAYING: "There are no human rights in Tibet, there are no human rights in China, and the IOC cannot, cannot reward (award) the Olympic Games to China again. China is a dictatorial government. China is violating our rights." One of the Tibetan Youth Association in Europe activists managed to get into the room where Beijing was presenting its bid. Another who got into the hotel lobby at the same time was taken away by Swiss police. Beijing is competing with the Kazakh city of Almaty to host the 2022 games. The winning bid is due to be unveiled at the end of July.
