Heavy news for heavy metal fans. Rock and roll legends Motley Crue are finally hanging up their guitars and flame throwers for the final time. After nearly 35 years and 80 million album sales worldwide, the band have announced their final European tour dates. SOUNDBITE: Motley Crue Drummer, Tommy Lee, saying (English): "Everything that we've set out to do we've accomplised, and we came, we saw, we kicked its ass, we bought the shirt, we've done everything we set out to to do, so for us it's like, let's just go out like this and leave everything intact, leave the legend intact, leave all the memories intact and go out on a super high note so there are no regrets, and there are no feelings like that." The Crue have already said goodbye to Japan, New Zealand and Australia as part of their two-year final world tour. That will end on New Year's Eve in their hometown in LA for their last ever show. But in Europe their biggest pyrotechnic shows to date, bringing not just the flame throwers but also Tommy Lee's so-called "Cruecifly", a giant rollercoaster flying over the heads of the audience and turning the drummer upside down. Rock legend Alice Cooper will also be with them. SOUNDBITE: Alice Cooper Singer, Alice Cooper, saying (English): "It's amazing when we go out on tour, especially these two bands, the first 50 rows are 15 to 25, and they've got all the makeup on, and they've got the Motley stuff on, and they've got the Alice stuff on, they're having the most fun. The reason they're there is because their bands are not producing." Fans voted for cities they most wanted to see the Crue perform in, which will now include London, Monte Carlo and Abu Dhabi. The 2014 leg of their Final Tour sold a million tickets across 72 cities, bringing in more than 45 million dollars.
