ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Jeb Bush, a Republican contender for president, held a town hall event in Henderson, Nevada, on Saturday (June 27), where he criticized President Obama and the "sheer incompetence" of the federal government. "For the last six years, we've had a president who won based on his glowing oratory, 'there's no blue states, there's no red states, there's only the United States of America,'" he told the audience, quoting a famous line from Obama. "But there's nothing in his background that would suggest that he had the leadership skills to fix a few big, complex things to turn this country's directions around. Well, I do," Bush said, pointing to his record while governor of Florida. He also said the government had demonstrated "sheer incompetence", citing the recent massive hacking of a U.S. government agency that compromised the personnel records of millions of Americans. On Monday (June 29), Bush is scheduled to take his campaign tour to Charleston, South Carolina.
