The heat is on in Germany and so are the bikinis. Temperatures in some parts have risen to almost 40 degrees Celsius -- or 104 fahrenheit -- and these Frankfurt residents are trying to keep their cool. Tanning and the swimming pool go hand in hand. But for some, the best part is having an excuse to chow down. (SOUNDBITE) (German) POOL VISITOR, TINA WAGNER, SAYING: "The best thing you can do to fight the heat is eat ice cream... or drink ice cold water." Sunbathers in Warsaw took to the banks of the Vistula river -- with more space than usual -- after temperatures spiked over 37 Celsius... or 98 fahrenheit. The heat is causing water levels to drop -- and boats are bearing the brunt of it. But in Prague, boats come second for these revelers, who instead chose to walk on water. The European heatwave has hit here too... although it's unclear just how hot it is inside these bubbles.
