Recovery teams were still searching for bodies on Thursday morning, after the helicopter, carrying twelve people, crashed into a lagoon in Lagos, Nigeria's commercial capital. The accident happened on Wednesday afternoon. Witnesses say the aircraft appeared to lose power as it was approaching the city's airport, bursting into flames as it hit the water. The helicopter was operated by offshore energy transportation company, Bristow Group. The company says the aircraft was returning from a drilling rig off the coast and was preparing to land when it crashed. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
