"Kounotori" cargo craft blasts off from Japan

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency launches its ''Kounotori'' HTV-5 cargo craft to the International Space Station. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) launched on Wednesday (August 19) its "Kounotori" HTV-5 cargo craft to the International Space Station. The cargo ship is expected to deliver more than 4.5 tons of supplies, including water, spare parts, and experiment hardware. The journey from the Tanegashima Space Center, located along the southeast coast of Tanegashima, to the ISS will take five days. The ship's launched had previously been delayed twice due to poor weather conditions.
