ROUGH CUT (No reporter narration) STORY: A severe wildfire in Cualedro, in Ourense, northwestern Spain, has scorched 2,000 hectares since it started on Sunday, local officials said. It was still active on Monday. The blaze started just after midday on Sunday and in a matter of hours, scorched hundreds of hectares leading officials to declare just after 15:00 local (13:00 GMT) "situation 2" which denotes a risk to inhabited areas, Spain's El Mundo daily reported. Spanish news Agency Europa Press reported that at least one uninhabited home had burned and an unspecified number of people had left their homes as a precaution. Due to changing conditions, the fire has been difficult to contain, El Mundo said. The regional government of Galicia has sent out a technical expert, nine forest agents, 20 fire brigades, six helicopters, nine planes, two bulldozers and 13 water pumps to control the fire, the Spanish daily reported.
