ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) U.S. Vice President Joe Biden celebrated Labor Day on Monday (September 7) by visiting a rally in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he praised labor unions for achieving what he said were basic rights, such as the 40-hour work week and sick leave. "There wouldn't be a single basic right out there were it not for anyone working but for labor," Biden said. "You built the middle class." Biden, a possible 2016 presidential candidate, is popular among national labor unions and could get their support should the vice president enter the race. A new NBC News/Marist Poll showed support for Biden, who has yet to decide whether to run after the death of his son Beau in May, at 16 percent.
