ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Activists gathered in Lima's historic centre on Friday (October 9) to protest against the World Bank and IMF as the organisations gathered the world's financial officials for their annual meetings. Amongst the issues the protesters are speaking out against are environmental pollution, wealth inequality and the newly-finalised Trans Pacific Partnership, of which Peru is a part of. The IMF / World Bank meetings come amidst slowing economic growth in Peru and across Latin America. Abroad, there are similar concerns about the European economy and China. The annual meetings will wrap up on Sunday (October 11).
