You'd think they'd just won a share of that $1.6 billion Powerball lottery jackpot, but they didn't. These residents of Chino Hills just east of Los Angeles are celebrating that one of the three winning tickets were sold at their local 7-11 convenience store. SOUNDBITE: STEVEN FERDUGO, CHINO HILLS RESIDENT (ENGLISH) SAYING: "It's awesome. I feel like I won a little bit. It's weird. It's exciting." Just earlier Wednesday night, lottery officials drew the six winning numbers in North America's biggest lottery prize ever: 8-27-34-4-19 and Powerball 10. It would've been the world's largest prize if it had produced just one winner. Back in Chino Hills, the owner of that 7-11 store, Balbir Atwal, is a winner in a way, for the store gets a $1 million bonus for the selling the ticket. SOUNDBITE: BALBIR ATWAL, STORE OWNER (ENGLISH) SAYING: "I'm just happy that a lucky customer came here and bought the lucky ticket and won. I'm happy for them." The other two winning stubs were sold in Florida and Tennessee. Amid the lottery fever, no one has yet claimed the prize worth nearly $530 million as of early Thursday morning. Losers shouldn't feel bummed. The odds of winning were 1 in 292 million.
