ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: During a rally at Iowa's Simpson College on Thursday (January 21), Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton defends her healthcare plan over rival Bernie Sanders, saying with him "you'll get gridlock and an endless wait for advances that will never come." Hillary Clinton has distanced herself from President Barack Obama on a number of high-profile issues since starting her bid for the White House. Now, under pressure from left-leaning challenger Bernie Sanders, she is embracing him and his legacy with fervor. Clinton has said Sanders' healthcare plan would undermine Obama's signature Affordable Care Act at a time when Republican legislators were still trying to repeal and replace it. Sanders said he wanted to build on the Obama law by making health insurance more affordable. Clinton also said she would "always defend Planned Parenthood." She said, "If fighting for women's health and women's rights and equal pay is playing the gender card, deal me in."
