Morelia, Mexico is getting ready for a visit from Pope Francis -- and residents hope his message of peace will resonate in the troubled region. Workers have been busy repairing a monument in the city square... and giving the local stadium an extensive makeover ahead of the pope's visit next month. But some residents say the cleanup cannot mask its deep-seated problems. "There is no justice, there is corruption, there is unemployment, there are many things. And with the slogan, we will receive the pope with our souls -- but they are not at peace." Violence-plagued Michoacan state is widely regarded as Mexico's methamphetamine capital and the birthplace of some of the country's brutal cartels. Church officials hope the visit will help the pope understand the residents' pain. During his visit in mid-February the pope will also meet with Mexico's president and other officials to discuss issues including the environment, protection for migrants and human rights. This will Pope Francis's fourth visit to Latin America.
