ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump warns Iowans that rival Sen. Ted Cruz, if elected President, "will destroy your ethanol business." At a campaign rally in Waterloo, Iowa, Trump said, "I am looking at the money put up by Ted Cruz, for Ted Cruz and it is incredible, the people there, it's controlled," Trump said. "He will destroy your ethanol business, 100 percent." "I am not blaming him, because he is financed by oil people, and the oil people don't want ethanol, it's very simple," Trump said. "So, the oil people are funding them and they don't want ethanol; your ethanol business, if Ted Cruz gets in, will be wiped out within six months to a year, it's going to be gone," Trump said. "And as you know, the ethanol folks like Trump, I have been consistent, I have been solid , I am a supporter and I will always will be a supporter," he said. Trump's ground-breaking White House campaign faces a moment of truth on Monday when Iowa voters begin the nationwide process of choosing a new U.S. president, with polls showing him in a tight battle with Ted Cruz to be the Republican nominee. A Des Moines Register/Bloomberg Iowa poll on Saturday showed 45 percent of likely Republican caucus-goers were still uncertain and could be persuaded to switch to another candidate. Iowans will begin choosing candidates at 7 p.m. CST, with results expected within a few hours. The caucuses will be the first time Trump, a real estate tycoon and former reality TV star, has put his political appeal to the test.
