A surge in new video subscribers beefed up quarterly revenue at Comcast. The media giant signed up 89,000 subscribers - its most in eight years. The company is attempting to improve customer service and boost its offerings as it battles for viewers with the likes of Netflix and Hulu. But high-speed internet is still the main game for the largest U.S. cable operator. Comcast added almost half a million broadband customers in the last four months of fiscal 2015, its best number in nine years. Box office receipts from blockbusters "Jurassic World" and "Minions" also contributed to revenue at its NBCUniversal unit. During the earnings call, Comcast said it's thinking of getting into the wireless market. It plans to participate in the auction for spectrum in March.
